The long-awaited (by some people, I guess) mini-prequel to “The Villain’s Sidekick” will be showing up in no time. Pinky swear.

Nice one. Looking forward to it. One of the good things about Villain’s Sidekick was suddenly being immersed in story and an unfamiliar world, without any exposition about that world that I recall – just enough small mid-action details to fill in the needed context. That said, the prequel, I’m confidently confident will be, as the kids say, sick.
Thanks, Ben. You can expect more of the same in The Eternity Conundrum. A big ridiculous situation, a bunch of absurdly named heroes and bad guys, and just a vague idea of what the hell is going on beyond Duke’s limits of comprehension. I am considering doing his “origin story” at some point, to be titled “We All Gotta Start Somewhere.” And I’m hoping to have the full-length sequel out by the end of this year or early next.
